Welcome to Pennsylvania's 2nd Largest Gymnastics Meet.  We were the largest for several years running, however were out done by the "Pink" Invitational.   We believe in their cause of finding a cure for Breast Cancer, and so we support them and hope they continue to be the largest.  So, come to both!!!

Thanks for taking an interest in our meet.  This is the 9th Annual Stars & Stripes meet.  Thanks to a

lot of hard work from a lot of great people, it has grown to become one of the biggest and best meets

around.  If you are interested in attending, please download our meet registration forms, or contact

Erie Gymnastics as soon as possible.

WHAT MAKES OUR MEET GREAT ---
TOP 10 reasons to brave the snow and come to ERIE

1.  Great & Interesting Competition:

Erie, PA sits on the border of 3 different USAG regions and Canada, yet is just 2 hours away from Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH / Buffalo, NY / and Ontario.  At our meet you get to see and compete against a lot of teams you might normally not see during the year.  Last year we had 40 teams from West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and Ontario.

2.  Bring You Whole Team:
The Star's & Stripes Invitational is
for Women's Level 3 thru Level 10's.

Come enjoy a fun getaway weekend in Erie with the whole team.

3.  Great Awards:

We go 50% deep with nice medals and trophies.  We know it is important, especially for the little ones to have a chance to earn a medal.  We have fair & reasonable sized age groups per level and don't chince with awards.  Real Heroes - members of the Military, Firemen, & Policemen will be on hand to distribute the awards.
4.  Great Facility:

This year we moved our meet site back to Family First Sports Park.  Family First Sports Park is located within walking distance to numerous Hotels, Restaurants, Splash Lagoon Indoor Waterpark, and less than a mile from the Millcreek Mall (Erie's Largest Shopping Complex) It's also easy to find.
5.  Things to Do:
There are many things to do in Erie.  We are less than a mile from Erie's Largest Mall Complex with hundreds of stores & restaurants.  We are less than 2 miles from Splash Lagoon (Erie's huge Indoor Water Park) which is a big hit with all of the teams.  We are only 15 minutes from Peak & Peak Ski Resort.  We are less than 4 miles to Presque Isle State Park which is beautiful in the winter and offers a chance to see the ice flows and much wildlife.  We also are the heart of Wine Country, with tours available every weekend.
6.  PA's Largest Flag:
We have the largest flag in PA, and one of the largest in the US as a beautiful backdrop for our event.  The meet is a patriotic tribute to those heroes born on 9/11 and those who continue to risk their lives to protect ours.  All Military, Firemen, Policemen, & Rescue Workers... are admitted FREE.
7.  Fast Awards

We have computerized electronic scoreboards and judge entered scoring systems.  Our awards are out quickly and even though we give a lot of awards, the ceremony is quick.

 8. Entertainment:

Each year we have really cool national caliber entertainment while we calculate the scores.  It makes the time go faster and offers insight into what you can do with your gymnastics talents.  Our two performers from last year are currently on a 72 country tour!

9.  Coaches Hospitality:

We have an annual hospitality party for all the coaches and staffers.  We are sponsored by a local Winery and a Chocolate Factory.  You can celebrate your victories or drown in your defeats.  In either case a great time to be had!
10.  We are Fun People:

We believe gymnastics is fun, and the whole purpose for participating and competing is for fun.  Even if you fall, you still can have some fun.  The teams we invite are fun, the coaches are fun, and the kids are a blast.  We have professional DJ's pumping up the crowds between rotations, acts, even the judges have been known to get into the action!  (We are sponsored by a local Winery- hehe)
