Dear Gymnastics Fans, First, I wish to Thank a lot of good people who helped put this event together. We pride ourselves on trying to host the very best competition possible, and we think we do a pretty good job. We do however always look for ways to improve the event, and sometimes glitches and events out of our control happen that we can't prevent. But, if you have some comments on the competition - either kind words or solid critique... we would appreciate hearing them, and I always forward them to our Boosters. I will however name some names to thank below, because I know many of you will skip this section if it gets the least bit wordy. The media and press were here over the weekend. The Erie Sports Commission under the direction of Ron Sertz did a fantastic job both promoting and covering the meet this weekend. Our local Erie Paper has a website called goerie.com. They had the press photographer here and he captured some really great action shots. Many were of the main event, however some included other flights. Here are the links to that site. You can read both the articles and view the pictures, and I even believe you can purchase any shots. There were several.... You can also search the site for more. http://www.goerie.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2012301079945 http://www.goerie.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2012301059905 http://reprints.goerie.com/mycapture/enlarge.asp?image=39635497&event=1391871&CategoryID=60276 Next, we also had a professional Photographer - Leary Studios here at the competition. They took action shots of the entire event and have them available on their website for sale. Leary Studios Team Lightning Parents may also wish to check out ... Kinner Photography Greg is our Team Lightning Photographer and documents many of our events. * As of right now, we have not added up the total collection for the VA Hospital, however we will post it ASAP. |

A team championship doesn't happen because three
people score 10s, it happens because all the guys score well. In my opinion,
everyone deserved 10s, we're all 10s on this team.
